Many of our customers have doors with readers on both sides of the door – i.e. an inbound reader and an outbound reader. We are pleased to now support these in/out doors directly. 

To use in/out doors, customers simply set up the doors in Command by specifying the set of door slots that will be used on the AC42 or AC62 for the inbound reader and the outbound reader.

Only one door license is needed for an in/out door. See the launch blog post for more information.

Note: aside from high security cases, emergency egress should be allowed in cases of outbound badge failure.
