Verkada encrypts video data at rest and in transit. ECE builds on this encryption framework by giving customers control over their data encryption. Leveraging a well-recognized technique called client-side encryption, customers can choose to keep some keys to themselves and share them with Verkada and third parties only if they want to, such as working with Verkada’s technical support team.
