We’re excited to announce the addition of two new Verkada Alarms features that allow organizations to further customize their solution to meet their needs.

First, Verification Rules will enable organizations to customize how agents should respond to various alarm trigger events, such as when the agent is unsure whether a person’s behavior represents a threat, or when they see an apparent employee doing routine activity. In addition, we’re introducing the ability for customers to receive SMS and email notifications for situations that shouldn’t be ignored but that don’t rise to the level of a full alarm.

Second, we’re making it easier for customers to integrate data from Verkada with third-party systems. Now customers can easily pull relevant data on alarm sites and devices via the API, or use our webhook to subscribe to arm/disarm/alarm events, bringing this information into other applications to improve user experience, simplify workflows, and automate routine tasks.
