We’ve rolled out several enhancements to our LPR zones feature, designed to make tracking more flexible, accurate, and actionable:
Front and rear plate support: Configure LPR zones to read both front and rear license plates, making it possible to use a single camera to track both entrances and exits.
Smart plate matching: Automatically combine similar license plate records to prevent duplicate entries caused by character confusion (like matching the letter “O” with the number “0”).
Public API: Extract zone metrics and individual plate records using public API endpoints, making it easy to export data and create custom reports.
Vehicle list filtering: Isolate records involving license plates of interest to quickly identify relevant data.
