We’re excited to announce the release of Digital Zoom. Now you can easily zoom on live and historical video in your Verkada Command account. Watch the brief video above to see how it works.
Tips to get started:
Go to Cameras to select your desired camera. To zoom, go to the control bar at the bottom of the video player. Click the magnifying glass to zoom in, then click and drag the video to pan.
When viewing on a mobile browser, pinch the video to zoom in and out. Touch and drag to pan the video.
For best results when viewing live video, be sure to switch into the 1 Mbps stream for maximum resolution.
Don’t confuse this feature with Optical Zoom, which physically changes the zoom and focal-length settings of your camera. You can change Optical Zoom settings within Command by selecting “Zoom” on the camera video player.
