With this integration between Alarms and Access Control, organizations can protect their entryways after hours with alarm monitoring in a more cost-effective manner. Furthermore, the system can reduce false alarms by triggering only when a door is forced open. And just like intrusion sensors, access control triggers can be paired with nearby cameras – allowing monitoring agents to dismiss false alarms and prevent costly false dispatches.
