Helix empowers customers to generate customized searchable events by combining data from third-party applications with Verkada camera footage. These unique events can be conveniently accessed and searched through the Alerts tab in Command.

Setting up Helix is accomplished via Verkada's public API endpoint. We have simplified the initial event setup process by providing a step-by-step walkthrough within the Command UI. Furthermore, Helix has become more user-friendly as we now offer support for Helix event creation directly through Command. This capability allows users to create, delete, and modify schemas directly from the Command interface. Additionally, to facilitate customization, we provide reference schemas that can be utilized when crafting custom scripts.
