Alert delivery has been standardized across all Verkada product lines. When creating or editing an alert rule, authorized users can now choose between two delivery options:

• Broadcast delivery: Sends the notification to every listed recipient, regardless of Command permissions. For example, maintenance staff can receive vape sensor alerts without needing full access to site cameras.

• Auth-scoped delivery: Automatically checks each recipient's site access before sending. For example, if an alert rule covers 100 store locations, each store manager only receives notifications for incidents at their specific store.

Existing alert rules will keep their current delivery behavior until an authorized user updates them.
