  • H. Skip Brandt Harvey “Skip” Brandt has been Director of Security for several Boston hotels since 1986. Skip is well known to the Boston lodging industry and nationally as a founder and longtime Executive Director of the International Lodging Safety and Security Association – Boston Chapter (ILSSABoston.) He has been recognized in the Security 500 edition of Security Magazine as one of the top security professionals in the lodging industry. Skip holds both a bachelors and master of sciences degree in Criminal Justice from Northeastern University College of Criminal Justice. He gained his designation as a Certified Protection Professional (CPP) by examination in 1986 through ASIS International and is a Certified Lodging Security Director (CLSD) through AHLA Educational Institute. He is a member of the ASIS Hospitality, Entertainment and Tourism Council, a member of the AHLA Safety & Security Committee and Co-chair of the AHLA High Technology Next Generation (HTNG) working group. Skip has guest lectured at Northeastern University’s College of Criminal Justice to both undergraduate and graduate classes and Boston University School of Hospitality Administration. He also lectures for the Boston Chapter of ASIS CPP Review on physical security and emergency planning and security business ethics and management.

  • Michael Giannetto is Director Of Campus Safety and Emergency Management at Landmark College. Prior to joining Landmark Michael served the State of CT in the Department of Corrections for 20 years, conducting investigations and training among other posts in the institution. Michael is also a 10-year Army Veteran, where he served as an Artillery Officer.

  • Lakshya Garg is a Solutions Engineer Manager at Verkada. With six years in the technology industry, progressing from cybersecurity and networking to physical security, Lak brings a deep understanding of how these domains intersect. Today, he manages a talented team of solutions engineers across Verkada, tackling complex security challenges, delivering innovative solutions that safeguard our clients' assets and information. In addition to his professional achievements, he also hold a pilot's license.
