A new feature, alert throttling, will limit the number of messages a Command user can receive in a single day to 500. This will help users avoid receiving too many notifications, which can negatively affect their experience using Command.

The alert limit does not include SMS messages that are critical to Command operations, such as one-time passcodes for logging into Command.

Users will receive a warning message when they have reached 80% of their daily alert maximum, as well as when they reach the limit.

Alert throttling will be rolled out to Verkada customers on April 4.
