Today, we are excited to launch an enhanced version of People Heatmaps in Floorplans. People Heatmaps aggregates people's motion activity seen by Verkada cameras as color-coded contours, or heatmaps, and overlays them on your uploaded floorplans.

To help make transparency, privacy, and compliance simpler for our customers, we now offer a Verkada Privacy & Security disclosure. Using this feature, customers can communicate which products and features are being used in their organization. 

Following our recent release of the SV20 Series Air Quality Sensors, we are excited to announce Sensor Zones for all devices and Audio Recording on our SV25, helping our customers better understand, monitor and protect their indoor environments. These two updates will be available starting on December 22, 2022. Additionally, starting today, updates to device reboot, alerts and motion sensitivity functionality will be released to all Sensor units currently deployed.

Verkada's Privacy & Security Checklist helps Org Admins secure access to the system, ensure proper roles and permissions, and review preferences and actions taken in Command.

Today, Verkada is excited to announce two new features that further extend Verkada’s emergency management and physical security capabilities: Roll Call Reports and wireless lock push button functionality. These features add yet more capabilities to Verkada’s access control platform, and further extend the Verkada hybrid-cloud model from security use cases into those focused on user experience and safety.
