Video Security Firmware Release Notes - April 21, 2026

Improvements and Bug Fixes:

  • Improvements to the image quality of people and vehicle hyperzooms on CD43 and CD53 cameras.

  • Improvements to animal detection accuracy by introducing a new threshold to filter low-confidence results.

  • Improvements to audio detection accuracy by implementing calibrated, decibel-based threshold measurements to minimize false negatives.

  • Improvements to motion detection reliability during day-night transitions by locking object-tracking status while image stabilization is active.

  • Improvements to device stability and reliability on Cxx1 and Cxx3 cameras through memory optimization.

  • Fixed issue where some CP63-E cameras displayed a pink feed during day-night transitions due to the IR filter getting stuck.

  • Fixed issue where deleting a privacy region on one sensor of some multisensor cameras removed previously configured privacy regions on other sensors.

  • Fixed issue where some cameras lost focus during day-night transitions by implementing focus micro-adjustments.

  • Fixed issue where some CB61-E cameras lost focus due to frequent reboots.

  • Fixed issue where some cameras lost focus periodically due to focus motor issues.

  • Fixed issue where some cameras got stuck in a boot loop after being decommissioned and recommissioned due to a configuration initialization issue.

  • Fixed issue where CV processing on some cameras caused an increase in CPU load.

  • Fixed issue where some multisensor cameras failed to decommission and recommission due to the presence of a stale device ID configuration.

  • Fixed issue where storage index limits were exceeded on some cameras in low-activity or dark environments, making video footage inaccessible.
