Verkada Air Quality Sensors now offers four new custom index readings in the SV20 series. First, Humidex is a Canadian measure that combines temperature and humidity to represent how hot it feels. Second, Dew Point is the temperature at which air cools enough for water vapor to condense into dew or frost. Third, the RESET® Viral Index is a metric that assesses the risk of airborne virus transmission within indoor spaces. Lastly, the Mold Risk Index is a metric that assesses temperature and humidity levels and compares them to established thresholds associated with increased mold growth risk. The Humidex, Dew Point, and Mold Risk Index readings will be available in the SV11 (discontinued), SV21, SV23, and SV25 sensor models, while the RESET® Viral Index reading will be available in the SV23 and SV25 sensor models.
