We are excited to announce several new features for Verkada Guest, including some specifically designed for our school and healthcare customers. These features will be available to all Guest customers beginning May 23, 2024.

Core Guest Features

• Return visitors can expedite their check-in process by showing a QR code saved in their Apple Wallet or Google Wallet.

• Guest log search allows admins to more easily search for specific visitors, as well as filter by name, date, guest type, and site.

• Customers can now import subsites into Guest as a site.

• Customers can add a video for visitors to watch as part of the check in flow.

• Admins and receptionists can add notes to individual visitor profiles.

• Improvements for admins while exporting visitor logs.

For Our Healthcare Customers:

• A single iPad can now support visitors checking into multiple departments within a healthcare facility.

• New outpatient flow allows guests visiting outpatients, or visitors who are outpatients themselves, to visit the hospital and select the department they are visiting. The department will be reflected on the visitor badge.

• Help visitors better understand how to use the iPad front camera for ID scanning by having a visual on the iPad screen that demonstrates the scanning gesture.

For Our Education Customers:

• Verkada Guest now integrates with ClassLink, a leading provider of single sign-on for schools. This integration enables Verkada Guest to seamlessly communicate with commonly used student information systems (SIS). The ClassLink integration allows Verkada Guest to support education use cases such as early dismissal and tardy tracking.

• As part of Guest’s volunteer management feature, customers can upload a CSV list of pre-approved visitors to streamline the process.

• Guest now supports mapping multiple Guest sites to one SIS district, as opposed to the previous one-to-one ratio.
