Verkademy is our Associate Account Executive (AAE) training program — a 6-month fast-track designed to prepare you for promotion to a Mid-Market Account Executive role. It combines hands-on selling, weekly training, and ongoing mentorship.

AAEs are part of the Verkademy program and are focused on the Mid-Market segment, running discovery calls and assisting AEs with closing deals. EDRs focus on outbound prospecting for Enterprise-level accounts and support Enterprise AEs in building pipeline. Both roles are strong launchpads into AE positions.

No prior sales experience is required. We look for high-potential individuals with grit, strong communication skills, and a passion for learning. Many of our most successful team members came from non-sales backgrounds.

No — both AAE and EDR roles are in-office positions. Verkada believes in the power of in-person collaboration, learning, and energy — especially at the early stages of your sales career.

Promotions are based on performance. AAEs typically promote to Mid-Market AE within 6–9 months. EDRs move into the Mid-market AE role in 12–18 months. We promote top performers quickly — and we invest heavily in your growth to help you get there.

You’ll join a cohort of new hires and go through onboarding together, with sessions on Verkada’s products, sales playbooks, and live coaching. From day one, you’ll be selling and learning in real time.
