  • Advanced triggers on third-party cameras: Line-crossing and loitering triggers are now supported on third-party cameras via Command Connector. Learn more.

  • AI deterrence on third-party cameras: Use third-party cameras to trigger a sequence of AI-generated warnings that can incorporate scene context and escalate over time if the person remains. Learn more.

  • Alarm event reports: Create and export reports of alarm events across sites, with filters for time, location, device type, whether dispatch was requested, and more. Learn more.

  • Temporary muting: Mute specific sensors or cameras for a period of time without disarming the partition or leaving the device muted indefinitely. Learn more.

  • Natural language schedule setup: Create and modify arm/disarm schedules by simply describing the schedule or change in plain language. Learn more.

Access Control

  • Introducing the AC43 and AC43-G four-door controllers: The AC43 is our next-generation four-door controller, built with redesigned circuitry and support for LTE backup alongside next-generation battery technology. The AC43-G is a government-grade version of the AC43. Learn more.

  • Introducing the ACC-AC-EV3-MT-1 EV3 Multi-Technology Card: The ACC-AC-EV3-MT-1 EV3 Multi-Technology Card combines encrypted and proximity technologies into a single badge to help ease system transitions and support door and non-door use cases. Learn more.

  • New emergency scenario functionality in Command: Schools and workplaces can now define and activate a broader range of emergency response scenarios modeled after the Standard Response Protocol (SRP) by the “I Love U Guys” Foundation (ILUG). Learn more.

  • New wireless lock alerts: Organizations can now receive alerts when a lock is disconnected from its wireless hub, or the wireless hub is disconnected from its controller. Learn more.

  • Static cache on wireless locks: Verkada wireless locks can now locally store a static list of authorized credentials. This allows users to access doors even if the lock loses connectivity with its controller. Learn more.

  • Custom polling frequencies for wireless locks: Organizations can now customize the polling frequency for wireless locks from a default of ten seconds to suit their specific needs. Learn more.

Intercom

  • Privacy controls: New privacy controls allow admins to disable continuous streaming outside of active intercom calls, as well as manage audio retention settings across deployments. Learn more.

  • Zoom Phone Interop certification: Verkada intercoms have obtained Zoom Phone Interop certification. Learn more.

  • Command web calling refresh: We have made updates to Command web calling that make the calling experience more intuitive. Learn more.

  • Command events page refresh: We have updated the Command events page to streamline event discovery and improve the clarity of call transcripts. Learn more.

Command

  • Redesigned Command waffle menu: The Command waffle menu has been updated to only display products with active licenses, with an option to expand the menu view to explore other products available.

  • Audit log natural language search: Administrators can now use AI to instantly filter audit logs and investigate events using conversational queries like "show me who deleted users last month". This feature will be available at the end of May. Learn more.

  • Unified user & group pages: Command now features a dedicated landing page for organizations to easily track, assign, and view user and group permissions at a glance. Learn more.

  • Custom site roles: Administrators can now create custom site-level Video Security and Workplace permissions. This ensures users are granted only the precise access they need to perform their jobs. This feature will be available in Command at the end of May. Learn more.

Workplace

  • Signed document fields: To help support strict compliance requirements, Verkada Guest now supports visitor-inputted information on PDFs. This helps organizations collect information on digital agreements to help meet rigorous legal standards. Learn more.

  • Global approved lists: Organizations can now streamline multi-site visitor management by creating centralized, globally applied approved lists for volunteers, contractors, or VIPs. This eliminates the need to manually duplicate lists for individual locations. Learn more.

  • Visitor activity reports: Organizations can now generate, filter, and export visitor activity CSV reports to track volunteer hours, monitor visitor presence, and maintain facility compliance. Learn more.

  • Updates to Guest for healthcare: Healthcare facilities can now deploy distinct check-in workflows for adults and minors, complete with custom questionnaires, integrated document signing, auto-translation, and dynamic privacy-focused visitor badges. Additionally, Face Match can cross-reference visitors against internal deny lists even without a government ID. Learn more.

  • Receptionist-assisted check-in: Front desk staff can now initiate visitor check-ins from their computer, handle exceptions like bypassing ID scans, and seamlessly push the remaining steps to a lobby iPad. This hybrid workflow provides a flexible alternative to fully self-serve kiosks. Learn more.

Connectivity

  • Point-to-point support on the GW31-E: GW31-E Outdoor Wi-Fi Gateways can now act as access points for other GW31-Es, eliminating the need for third-party access points in point-to-point and point-to-multipoint deployments. Learn more.
