The AX11 IO Controller brings more of your building infrastructure into the Verkada ecosystem—including access control, security footage, sensors, and alarms. With a fully integrated system, you can incorporate additional sensors and hardware to trigger and respond to building events, making it easy scale and manage physical security across multiple sites.
Access control for elevators
Bring the plug-and-play simplicity of Verkada Access Control to your building’s elevators with the AX11. Integrate with existing access hardware or deploy Verkada end-to-end for elevator access and native video integration.
Best of both worlds with event bridge
Event bridge with the AX11 allows you to continue using your existing access control or alarm system without a full system migration. Add video analytics to your doors, even if they are not secured by Verkada. At the same time, access events will stream directly to Command to improve visibility across entrances and exits.

With 16 inputs and 16 outputs, the AX11 IO Controller is designed to add flexibility to existing access control systems. With the AX11, customers have more options to remotely lock or unlock doors, monitor entryways, and secure critical assets.
The AX11 allows you to access control up to 16 elevator floors through the AX11’s 16 inputs and 16 outputs. With the AX11, each floor serves as an access point and can take inputs from Verkada readers or third-party Weigand readers. At the same time, native video integration means that anytime you have an elevator event, you can also generate camera events.
The AX11 is designed with many features that make installation incredibly simple, including removable connectors, an integrated power supply, and a detachable mounting plate. Bringing the product online is also straightforward. Simply connect to power and ethernet, and the device is ready to be added to Command.
Yes, events generated by the AX11 can be cross-referenced with security camera footage and ingested by our alarms and professional monitoring offering to make any Verkada deployment even more integrated and scalable.
The AX11 can be used to integrate multiple additional 3rd party sensors, switches, and peripherals, which can then be managed through Command in our intuitive centralized web-based interface.
