In multi-tenant buildings, corporate offices, and co-working spaces, managing visitor access can present a significant challenge: a single point of entry often serves numerous tenants, departments, or businesses, each with their own unique visitor protocols. For example, a visitor trying to gain entry to an office building may only have the phone number for general inquiries, rather than a direct line of communication for the specific department they are trying to reach. This can cause confusion and frustration for building management, tenants, and visitors. That is why today, we’re excited to announce a new keypad directory feature: callers can now easily dial and connect with specific units, departments, and offices directly from the TD63 intercom using a predefined 1-3 digit extension number.
Configuration and Setup
Within Verkada Command, administrators can configure each TD63 intercom with a directory of tenants. For each tenant, admins can program:
A tenant name and logo for clear identification
A unique 1-3 digit call code

A defined call flow to route the call to the intended recipients and their desired receiver types, like Desk Station or a phone number, allowing admins to see and manage all tenant call flows associated with an intercom in the receivers tab.

Additionally, the system can generate a formatted, printable PDF directory of tenant names and their corresponding call codes, which can be prominently displayed alongside the intercom for visitor reference. Once visitors arrive on premise, they can simply refer to this printed directory to find and dial the appropriate extension.
Building administrators can now also search for calls made to specific tenants using the tenant filter under the Events page, as well as view analytics across all tenants in the Intercom dashboard. The keypad directory feature is simple for admins to configure at scale, and provides visitors with a direct and intuitive way to reach the right person.
Availability
The keypad directory feature will be available on October 9, 2025. To learn more, reach out to your sales representative or contact [email protected].
