Today, we’re excited to announce the next evolution of our License Plate Recognition capabilities.
Proactively Identify License Plates of Interest
Leveraging Verkada’s powerful edge-based processing, License Plate of Interest Notifications deliver real-time alerts when a license plate is detected. The feature works by combining the power of Verkada’s LPR with our proactive alerting capabilities to bring instant, around-the-clock monitoring to vehicle-based incidents.
Once a License Plate of Interest is detected, users receive a notification via email or SMS with an image and a link to review associated footage. This allows organizations to react quickly to threats, alert staff of VIPs, or identify individual vehicles through an organization.
This feature is now live in Command for all users with LPR cameras. Follow the instructions in our knowledge base to learn how to set up License Plate of Interest Alerts.
