When we first launched Command, we aimed to build a centralized management platform that solved the pain points many organizations experienced from their legacy systems. We focused on delivering remote management, ease-of-use and meeting the scale of their physical security.
Through Command, thousands of customers worldwide rely on Verkada to provide visibility and awareness into events happening across their physical spaces, as well as simplifying the management of their devices.
Today, we’re excited to share the latest version of Command featuring an integrated approach to seamlessly managing physical security across all your devices and locations.

Once logged into Command, users will notice a couple of significant enhancements.
First, the left side navigation has been simplified with quick access to the core components of Command. This includes Home, Live, Search, Devices and Admin. Each page is designed to provide an all-in-one experience across all of your Organization’s devices and locations.
Home is the dedicated page for accessing all of your cameras, doors and sensors. This page is where you would start an investigation, find events or take action such as unlocking a door.
Within Home, there are tabs to toggle between products. If your organization only has one product type, such as security cameras, users will only see Cameras. When additional product types are added, they’ll populate without any additional configurations or complexities.
See It Live
One of the most important benefits of Verkada is the ability to monitor all of your sites in real-time. With features like proactive notifications, we make it easy for you and your teams to stay on top of important events.
When clicking into the Live page of Command, users will be able to get that same real-time visibility built into an integrated feed.
The Live page combines features across Verkada’s video security notifications, access control events and license plate recognition (LPR) solution. Just like with the Home page, only the events that your team has enabled will be visible.
When using the Live page, there is no need to refresh. Each new event automatically populates, allowing your teams to monitor without disruption.
Search What You Need
Search is one of the most powerful tools in Verkada Command. Quickly and easily, users can find devices, users or sites. The Search page is accessible from anywhere across the platform and combines results across all Verkada products.
Users can access their People and Vehicles results from the Search page. Clicking into the People page allows users to manage their Person of Interest notifications and see recent matches.
Clicking into Vehicles will display all the vehicles that have been detected across your organization. From there, users can filter vehicles by site, as well as type and color.
We have simplified device management by combining all your cameras, access controllers and environmental sensors into a centralized location. Users can search and filter devices by a wide range of attributes, including type, location and IP address.
Stay In Control
From the Admin panel, teams can manage the settings across their organization, manage their users, access audit logs and create rules for their devices.
Additionally, administrators can click into Support to get help with their Verkada account. Included is Verkada’s Support Permission System, which provides customers with direct control and visibility into how Verkada provides technical support. You can learn more about this new feature here.
