Optimize Real-Time Monitoring and Incident Response with New Grids Functionality
Verkada’s grids feature enables Command users to view multiple live camera feeds simultaneously, combining key coverage areas onto a single page or sequence of rotating pages. This functionality gives individual operators real-time visibility across separate physical locations, allowing them to more effectively monitor wide areas and respond to incidents as they unfold.
We’re excited to introduce several new features that bring greater flexibility to every part of the grids experience – from creation and management at scale to real-time monitoring.
To simplify grid creation and management:
Additional grid layouts allow users to choose high-priority camera feeds to take up a larger portion of the page.

Page titles describe what each grid page is displaying.
Custom rotation timers for each grid page dwell on important pages for longer periods of time.
Users can rearrange grid tiles without having to delete an existing grid.
To better facilitate real-time monitoring:
A new favorites section ensures frequently-used grids are easy to find.
Users can select a default grid they will see first when entering the grids page.
Access control smart tiles highlight access events as users badge into a facility or open doors, allowing for visual verification that badges are being used by the appropriate people and no individuals are tailgating.

A new fullscreen experience optimizes visibility and maximizes detail, making it easier and more effective to monitor multiple real-time camera feeds simultaneously.
Availability
New grids functionality will be available to all Command organizations on October 9, 2025.
