Verkada Partners with Safe and Sound Schools to Enhance Comprehensive School Safety

We’re celebrating the return of our Season of Thanks & Giving initiative with Safe and Sound Schools. For every dollar you donate to Safe and Sound Schools through the end of 2025, we will match it – up to $15k.

Founded by parents who lost children at Sandy Hook Elementary, Safe and Sound Schools provides research-based tools and support for crisis prevention, response, and recovery. At Verkada, we create AI safety technology that helps keep students safe. But technology alone isn't enough - schools need comprehensive safety strategies that address prevention, preparedness, and response. That's where Safe and Sound Schools’ work comes in to ensure that safety teams have not just the right tools, but the knowledge and training to use them effectively.
