For the 2026 Verkada State of Cloud Physical Security report, Verkada worked with Dynata to survey 1,001 IT and physical security leaders across the United States and Canada. North America sits at the front of the maturity curve: 47% report actively using AI, ahead of the 41% global average — yet the practices are still catching up: with just under half of respondents reporting report comprehensive AI governance or formal metrics for what AI returns.
