In our April release, the following products and features will become available to all Verkada customers.

Connectivity

• Customers can now manage gateways in the Command iOS mobile app. Learn more.

• WAN failover mode allows customers to use the GC31 or GC31-E to provide backup connectivity for mission-critical devices. Learn more.

• The ACC-ANT-10 Outdoor Directional Antenna can boost signal strength on the GC31-E. Learn more.

Access Control

• From the door access report and the door page, users can now select the 'users with access' column to display a side panel widget of all users with access to that door.

• P2P local device connection now supports door unlocks triggered by AUX Inputs. Learn more. Learn more.

Workplace

• New features for Verkada Guest include allowing customers to upload a PDF document for visitors to sign; multiple choice questions during sign-in; storing a photo of the visitor ID that was scanned; filtering out Security Screen matches that have no photo or date of birth; and designating certain tablets to specific entrances. Command

• Beginning April 12, Command Organization Admins will be prompted to set up multi-factor authentication (MFA) upon logging in. Setting up MFA can initially be skipped, but must be completed by July 1, 2024. Click here to learn more about MFA options.
