Redesigned Coverage at Scale: Introducing New Next-Generation Multisensor Cameras
We are excited to introduce the latest additions to Verkada’s line of multisensor cameras: the redesigned CH53-E and CH63-E four-camera multisensors, and the CY63-E two-camera multisensor. Along with the previously-released CY53-E, these new models offer organizations the choice between 5MP and 4K image quality in both two-camera and four-camera configurations – ensuring Verkada can offer a multisensor camera to suit nearly any deployment scenario.
Redesigned Four-Camera Multisensors
Customers love the expansive coverage and powerful analytics Verkada’s four-camera multisensors provide – all from a single cable run. Building on that success, the next-generation CH53-E and CH63-E incorporate thoughtful hardware improvements to deliver consistent image quality and a streamlined installation experience:
Wider Field of View: Each lens offers an expansive viewing angle, enabling complete 360° coverage of any environment.
Enhanced Nighttime Viewing: Improved IR illuminator distribution helps to ensure optimal image quality at night and in low-light environments.
Simplified Network Management: Updated architecture ensures that new four-camera multisensors have a singular MAC address and only require one IP address.
Streamlined Installation: A three-LED light status indicator, latch design for simplified PoE threading, and lens alignment presets help expedite the installation process.
Audio Capture: An onboard microphone enables optional audio recording and can be easily controlled via a physical mute switch in addition to a digital toggle within Command.

The CH53-E deployed at Mike’s Bikes in Palo Alto, CA provides detailed coverage of their entire showroom floor while only requiring a single cable run and switch port.
The CH53-E offers 5MP resolution with independent optical zoom and analytics capabilities on each camera head – ideal for open areas that require wide coverage, such as hallway intersections, factory floors, and exterior building corners.
The CH63-E delivers 4K resolution while also offering independent optical zoom and analytics capabilities on each camera head. Its higher level of detail enables detailed face and vehicle capture at longer distances, optimal for expansive, high-traffic areas such as an atrium or a large building lobby.
New Two-Camera Multisensor
The new CY63-E joins the two-camera multisensor fleet alongside the CY53-E, offering 4K resolution in an identical form factor.
The CY63-E’s detailed 4K resolution maximizes analytics performance, capturing faces and vehicles at longer distances and in a variety of lighting conditions. Coupled with independent optical zoom and analytics capabilities on each camera head, the CY63-E excels at bidirectional monitoring of busy hallways, key entrances and exits, and warehouse or store aisles with valuable assets.
