We’re excited to announce that beginning November 15, notifications for cameras, alarms, air quality sensors, and access control can all be set up and configured from the Alerts page in Command. Previously, this functionality was only available for camera notifications.
The consolidation of these products' notifications in the Alerts page provides a simplified and more consistent experience for Command users. It allows users to more easily see a unified view of all notifications that have been configured across sites, devices, and events, rather than having to navigate to each product's page in Command.
It also allows customers to be more granular about who in their organization receives certain kinds of notifications. For example, organizations that use Verkada Alarms can now separate the users who should receive device and system alerts (such as a low battery warning) from those who should receive alarm event notifications (such as an intruder on the property).
