Customer Referral Program Terms and Conditions (the “Program”)
To be eligible to receive a $200 gift card reward (“Referral Reward”), a referring individual (“Referrer”) must:
Be 18 years of age or older;
be an employee of a current Verkada customer organization in good standing (e.g., have no amounts due or payable) when the initial referral is made;
be located in the United States;
make a “Qualified Referral” (defined below); and
not be employed by any federal, state, or local public sector or government-affiliated organization or any public educational organization.
Referral Rewards are sent in the form of a digital gift card of Verkada’s choosing.
You must submit your referral via a designated form.
A “Qualified Referral” is a referral where the referred individual, at the time of submission to Verkada: (1) not be a self-referral; (2) does not have any active Qualified Opportunities (defined below) with Verkada, (3) has not been contacted by a Verkada sales representative, (4) is not a current or former customer of Verkada, (5) has not been referred to Verkada before, (6) attends a demo with a Verkada representative in its entirety, and (7) constitutes a net-new Qualified Opportunity for Verkada.
A “Qualified Opportunity” is an opportunity where a prospective customer, as determined by Verkada in its sole discretion using its internal sales criteria for opportunity qualification, has a bona fide opportunity to purchase Verkada products and services in the next 6 months.
Personal information collected through this customer referral program will be used in accordance with Verkada’s Privacy Policy (https://www.verkada.com/privacy/). Verkada will use the referred individual’s contact information for sales and marketing outreach purposes and other purposes consistent with our Privacy Policy.
Verkada will notify Referrers whenever they (1) have made a Qualified Referral and (2) have become eligible for the Referral Reward following the referrer’s completion of a Qualified Referral. All potentially eligible referrals are reviewed at the beginning of each month. If you are approved for a Referral Reward, we will reach out via email and request that you confirm your email address before sending you a link to claim your Referral Reward via digital gift card.
If it has been more than 60 days and you have not received any communications from us about your Referral Reward, please email [email protected].
Verkada may delay or refuse to issue any Referral Reward it deems, in its sole discretion, to be fraudulent, suspicious, or in violation of these terms, or believes will impose potential liability on Verkada, its affiliates, or any of their respective officers, directors, employees, representatives and agents. All Verkada decisions are final and binding, including determinations as to whether any referral is a Qualified Referral or the Referrer is eligible for the Referral Reward under these terms. Verkada will not be responsible for any Referral Reward not received due to incomplete or inaccurate payee account details or other relevant information, provided by the Referrer.
Verkada does not make this offer to any person prohibited from receiving the Referral Reward under applicable law or regulation, including employees, representatives, or agents of the United States federal government entities or agencies, or any state, local, or educational institutions or agencies (collectively, "SLED"). The Program is not open to and may not be used by such individuals or entities, and participation by them is strictly prohibited. By submitting a referral and participating in the Program, the Referrer represents and warrants that it is allowed by law to receive the Referral Reward and is not affiliated with any federal or SLED organization. In its sole discretion, Verkada may require that the Referrer certify and sign a statement affirming that it is allowed to receive the Referral Reward under applicable laws and regulations before issuing the Referral Reward. Verkada reserves the right to disqualify any participant found to be in violation of these provisions.
Verkada may at any time and in its sole discretion modify or update any aspect of the customer referral program, including these terms and/or the Referral Reward, and may discontinue the customer referral program entirely. Verkada may provide notice of such changes by posting them on its website, and such changes will become effective 30 days after they are posted. Referrals that are not yet confirmed as Qualified Referrals as of the effective date will be deemed subject to the changed terms.
