Live NCIC Integrations in Select States

Verkada now has live National Crime Information Center (NCIC) integrations with five states: Arkansas, California, Illinois, Kentucky, and North Carolina. This integration allows Verkada law enforcement customers in these five states to receive alerts if a licence plate captured on a Verkada ALPR camera is detected in the NCIC database. This integration is only available to Verkada law enforcement customers operating in a Command organization hosted in AWS GovCloud.

Introducing Vehicle Lists

License plates of interest can now be organized and sorted into vehicle lists, just like people of interest. Users can delegate permissions to view and edit these lists on an individual basis, preventing unauthorized users from seeing or interacting with license plates of interest they should not have access to.

Introducing the CR63-E Remote Camera with LTE

Quick to deploy and easy to move, the CR63-E Remote Camera is designed to let organizations easily monitor areas that lack power and internet infrastructure.

The CR63-E has a built-in battery and LTE modem, and supports various power supplies, including pole tap, passive PoE, and even solar. The camera provides 24/7 streaming and impeccable image quality with 4K resolution and optical zoom. Onboard CV7x Ambarella processors support powerful AI analytics, allowing organizations to choose between person and vehicle analytics or license plate recognition, and get real-time alerts on person of interest, license plate of interest, line crossing detections, and more.

Introducing AI-Powered Unified Timeline

AI-powered unified timeline lets users visually reconstruct an incident end-to-end by unifying video events from all cameras onto a single, map-based timeline.

All sightings of the subject of interest are added to a chronological timeline, with the option to add sightings of additional relevant people or associated vehicles in a single view. For organizations with floorplans in Command, a dedicated view highlights which cameras detected the subject(s) of interest, along with the order of these detections. Once a complete and organized view of relevant footage has been built, easily convert all sightings into a comprehensive evidence package. To learn more, read the full announcement.

Grids Enhancements

New features provide additional flexibility for organizations leveraging grids for real-time monitoring. Page titles, custom rotation timers for each grid page, additional grid layouts, and the ability to rearrange grid tiles simplify grid creation and management. A new favorites section, user-specific default grids, access control smart tiles, and a new fullscreen experience better facilitate real-time monitoring.
