Please note that this update does not apply to Command in GovCloud customers.
The Command admin and organization settings pages have been redesigned to enhance user navigation through improved menu organization with clearer headers and a more powerful search functionality that instantly filters across all settings. Command now supports extended time range querying for audit logs, allowing administrators to access up to 90 days of historical log data. This update provides users with visibility into past events and user interactions.
Each Verkada organization will now have a unique login URL. Instead of using command.verkada.com, customers will access their accounts via their personalized subdomain. For example, if an organization’s short name is “acme”, the new URL would be acme.command.verkada.com. For more information, please review our documentation here.
We are introducing a beta early access program for User Directories and License Groups, two features aimed at streamlining how large enterprises manage users and licenses across many locations. User Directories allow organizations to delegate user management to local teams, giving them control over permissions and site administration without compromising centralized oversight. License Groups enable location-specific control over licensing and renewals, ensuring sites have their own budget and renewal timeline.
Verkada is compliant with the 2025 Voluntary Product Accessibility Template (VPAT) requirements, ensuring accessibility across our product suite. VPAT compliance includes alignment with Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) Level A and AA standards, ensuring better service for all users, including those with disabilities.

Command Org Admins can now grant themselves Site Admin access for all sites within their Command organization. From Org Settings, Org Admins can enable the setting, automatically granting all Org Admin users with Site Admin permissions. This update can be completed retroactively, providing users a one-time cleanup option that enables an Org Admin to provide Site Admin access globally to all users with Org Admin permissions.
The new Vehicles tab has been added to the Command mobile app, allowing users to view detected vehicles and their license plates. Users can easily search and filter vehicles by specific details such as color, type, make, model, and time detected. Finally, users can create alerts based on these filters directly from the app.
