To help ensure consistent and reliable multi-camera playback, we are introducing new playback speed limits based on the number of concurrent feeds being viewed. The maximum available playback speed now depends on the number of cameras viewed at once:
New third-generation bullet cameras include four models, with both wide-angle and telephoto options available in 5MP and 4K. The latest generation, like previous ones, supports our most advanced analytics, including AI-powered unified timeline and license plate recognition. They also provide improved image quality, streamlined installation, and better performance in the field.
New optional IR and white light illuminator attachments optimize image capture in low-light or nighttime conditions.

We have revamped the video player experience in the Command mobile app. For both iOS and Android users, we are bringing the mobile experience closer to matching the desktop experience when it comes to playback, scrubbing, and evidence review. The video player also now supports intuitive gesture controls.
This feature will be available on May 26, 2026.
Organizations can now change the IP address for existing Command Connector channels, preserving all existing settings and historical footage in the event of a network migration or VLAN restructuring.
Users can now star specific sites on the Command mobile app, which will appear at the top of the list of all camera sites. This makes it easier for mobile app users to navigate to frequently viewed cameras. Users who have already starred sites within the browser version of Command will now be able to see their existing favorites within the mobile app.
Inactivity detection alerts help detect the absence of people or vehicles in a defined area for a set period of time. For example, you can be notified if a security guard appears to no longer be manning a door, or retail employees seem to have closed a store early. Inactivity detection alerts can be configured on certain camera regions, across multiple cameras, or even across an entire site. You can choose the duration of inactivity after which the alert triggers, and – just like our other alerts – you can set it on a schedule.

LPR zones unify entry and exit events to provide visibility into how vehicles move across parking lots, drive-thrus, service centers, and other locations with frequent vehicle activity. Tracking is done based on license plate data, enabling organizations to see which vehicles are currently on site and how long departed vehicles spent within an area. Data for each zone is brought together in a detailed dashboard that surfaces key trends, allows for comparison against historical data, and offers powerful search and filtering tools to pinpoint movements of interest. LPR zones will be available to all organizations on April 20, 2026.

Our new, faster archiving method lets users access and share footage as soon as it has been backed up to the cloud. This reduces the amount of time it takes an archive to process, making it easier to fan out footage to key stakeholders in the aftermath of an event. Archives can still be saved locally, but transcoding will only take place when the download is initiated. Archive improvements will be available to all organizations by February 26, 2026.
Get notified when a camera’s onboard microphone detects a noise louder than 100 decibels. This beta feature is available to all customers and can be configured on all Cxx2 and Cxx3 series cameras that offer audio recording capabilities. Loud noise alerts will be available to all organizations by February 20, 2026.
