• New Government-Grade Cameras: Four new government-grade camera models are now available: the CD43-F and CD53-F indoor domes, and the CD43-E-F and CD53-E-F outdoor domes. These next-generation cameras meet the FIPS 140 encryption standard and are both TAA and FY2019 NDAA compliant. Learn more.

Alarms

• Alarm Email Notifications: Response contacts can now receive email notifications for alarms. Like SMS notifications, the email contains a pre-authenticated incident link for quick review and action.

• Redesigned Alarms Homepage: The Alarms homepage now shows previews of live alarms across your sites, making it easier for security teams overseeing multiple sites to quickly review and respond.

• Arm/Disarm Alerts: Organizations can now receive alerts for manual arm/disarm events at unexpected times to know if sites opened late, closed early, or got disarmed at night. 

• Critical Alerts in Command: When an alarm is raised, it will now appear as a red tile at the bottom of the screen no matter where you are in Command, allowing for greater visibility and faster response.

• Manage Lockdowns and Scenarios via API: The new Lockdowns and Scenarios API allows organizations to retrieve a list of available lockdowns and to activate and release them using third-party software. Learn more.

• Unlock via Local Whitelist on SimonsVoss Wireless Locks: Verkada now supports whitelist-based unlocking on SimonsVoss wireless locks, allowing stored credentials to grant access even when the lock is disconnected from the hub. Learn more.
