Byron is a veteran Business Continuity and Asset Protection professional with thirty-five year career working for various retailers, including Eckerd Drugs, Office Depot, Circuit City and 7-Eleven. His experience has specialized in directing business continuity/crisis management, regional and corporate asset protection/loss prevention, distribution/logistics, risk management, safety and corporate security. Byron holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Political Science from Sam Houston State University. Byron has been an active member of many organizations including the LPRC where he served as a board member, RILA where he has been involved with the RILA Asset Protection Conference Steering Committee. He is the President & Chairman of the International Supply Chain Protection Organization. He is recognized as a Certified Forensic Interviewer (CFI) by the International Association of Interviewers and is Loss Prevention Certified (LPC) by the Loss Prevention Foundation.
Michael Evanoff - CSO and Strategic Advisor, Verkada
Michael Evanoff is a global security executive with over 30 years of experience spanning diplomatic protection, corporate security, and national intelligence. He began his career with the U.S. Diplomatic Security Service, serving in eight U.S. embassies and leading the protective detail for Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice before becoming NATO’s Director of Security and Intelligence. He later served as Assistant Secretary of State for Diplomatic Security, overseeing the world’s most globally deployed law enforcement agency, before transitioning to senior security roles at Coca-Cola HBC, Walmart International, Jabil, and TC Energy. Michael’s service has been recognized with multiple honors, including the U.S. Presidential Meritorious Service Award and national medals from Lithuania and Estonia.
