KIRK DAVIS is a healthcare and enterprise cybersecurity executive with more than 30 years of experience leading information security, risk, and technology programs in highly regulated environments. He previously served as Vice President and Chief Information Security Officer at ECU Health, where he oversaw enterprise cybersecurity strategy, HIPAA/HITECH compliance, incident response, third-party risk, clinical technology security, and network services across a 19,000-employee, 90+ location health system.
Throughout his career, Kirk has focused on aligning cybersecurity with patient care, business continuity, and organizational resilience. He has led modernization efforts across EHR, cloud, identity, and network platforms; strengthened ransomware preparedness; and elevated cybersecurity governance at the board level. Kirk holds an MBA in Information Technology from Western Governors University and maintains several industry certifications, including CISSP, C|CISO, CRISC, CISM, CGEIT, CCSP, and CDPSE.
