Today, we are excited to announce new updates to our Access Control portfolio, featuring new government-grade access controllers, door readers, and a dedicated AWS GovCloud access control license.
These additions help enable government agencies and contractors requiring key security standards to scale and deploy cloud-based access control in their environments.
New Portfolio Additions
Our government-grade hardware is designed to meet specific federal procurement and encryption standards.
Access Controllers
Organizations can choose from two door controllers: the AC12-G (one-door) and the AC62-G (sixteen-door). Both models are TAA & FY2019 NDAA compliant and incorporate FIPS validated encryption.
Door Readers
Organizations can additionally choose from two TAA & FY2019 NDAA compliant door readers: the AD34-G and AD64-G, which both support contactless reads of PIV cards. They are also compatible with low- and high- frequency cards or fobs as well as Bluetooth mobile credentials. The AD64-G also features a keypad for PIN code entry.
Flexible Deployment with AWS GovCloud
Organizations now have the option to host their Command organization for Access Control within a standard AWS environment or AWS GovCloud, the latter of which has been designated FedRAMP in Process (Moderate). AWS GovCloud is an isolated region designed to move sensitive workloads into the cloud by addressing specific US government regulatory and compliance requirements. Access Control now joins Video Security, Guest, Air Quality Sensors, and Connectivity as a GovCloud-supported product line, helping organizations unify management across their physical security deployments.
Availability
With these new releases, government agencies and organizations who need to meet federal security standards can now deploy the market-leading cloud access control solution within their environment.
The AC12-G controller, AD34-G reader, AD64-G reader, and access control AWS GovCloud license are now available, and the AC62-G controller will be available in December. The AWS GovCloud license is exclusively available to US government organizations, including federal, state, local, or tribal organizations, research institutions, federal contractors, and government contractors.
