Workplace violence in healthcare is an acute issue, and the legislative landscape is shifting rapidly – from weapons screening mandates to required staff duress alarms. But traditional silos between clinical staff and security teams often leave frontline workers vulnerable, directly impacting staff retention, recruitment, and patient outcomes. To build a truly resilient environment, healthcare organizations must move past fragmented, reactionary protocols. True safety requires a unified culture where security personnel are not just a backup resource, but a deeply embedded extension of the clinical team.

Join us for a conversation with two experts in the field: Paul Sarnese, founder and principal of Secured and Prepared Consulting; and Laura Kincheloe, Director of Nursing Practice at the Texas Nurses Association. This session will bridge the gap between frontline clinical realities and strategic security operations to help organizations architect a proactive, collaborative violence prevention program.
